Our Journey – From Germany to the USA
In 2016, we packed up our lives in Germany and took a leap of faith — moving across the ocean in search of a new beginning and the promise of the American dream.
We didn’t know exactly where life would take us, but we knew one thing for sure: we wanted to earn our place here, work hard, and build something meaningful.
Our first two years in Ohio were filled with adjustment, discovery, and gratitude. It wasn’t always easy, but every challenge helped us grow stronger. Eventually, we made our way to the beautiful coast of North Carolina — a place that instantly felt like home.
Building a New Life – One Step at a Time
Over the years, we built our careers and our lives from the ground up. My wife became a Realtor, helping others find their dream homes. I became a Certified Master Home Inspector, helping families feel confident in theirs.
In 2020, my wife proudly took her oath of citizenship, and in 2025, I followed — one of the proudest days of my life.
Becoming American wasn’t just paperwork for us. It was a choice. A commitment. A deep appreciation for a country that gave us freedom, opportunity, and the chance to live a dream we once only imagined.

Out of that pride and gratitude, American By Choice Apparel was born.
